Our client in Dingley Village was looking for a comfortable entertaining area to use during the summer heat while preventing insects getting into the area. The Outside Concepts Bayside solution was to add a verandah with 100mm insulated Solarspan roof and Ziptrak blinds of the popular Shadeview fabric. To add to extra comfort, a fan was installed along with downlights for evening entertaining. The area is now fully enclosed converting the space into an intimate, heat-controlled entertaining area – the semi transparent blinds giving a view to the fantastic garden and pool. The blinds are easily opened by hand using the spring-aided lift mechanism and will stay-put at any height without clips, locks or fiddly fixings – a cleverly designed system relying on friction. The beautiful 200mm cypress posts on the verandah gives a modern look and ties into the addition perfectly. Our client is very happy with the result, read what they say about David Buntin from Bayside branch of Outside Concepts:

  • Dear David, Thank you for building us an such an excellent verandah, which turned out just as we envisaged it. From the beginning, your professionalism shone through: your quotation was very competitive; the design was just what we were looking for and your workmanship excellent. Thank you again for making the process so painless. Yours sincerely, Victoria & Derek Edwards
