The large project required several tasks: The installation of a large deck off the back of the house, a fly-over roof over the deck, and balustrades and external cladding to match the outside of the house. Outside Concepts North Brisbane also installed timber bi-fold doors at the back of the house, to provide improved access to the beautiful new outdoor living area.
The deck, posts and beams utilised Kwila, or Merbau, a beautiful timber that is extremely hard-wearing. The fly-over roof was built over the roof of the existing house. This was done to create a higher roof area and increase the feeling of more space. Insulated solarspan roofing was used to help keep the heat out.
The end result is a beautiful outside structure that can be used by the entire family all-year-round. A place for children to play, the entire family to eat meals or relax and even space to do the laundry.
