At Outside Concepts, we’re always looking at ways to make our clients’ outdoor living areas as practical and comfortable as possible, and that’s certainly the case with outdoor blinds installed by our branch in Canberra.
Take the case of the main image on this page, showing two of four Ziptrak outdoor blinds installed in a Canberra client’s alfresco area. The two blinds are separated by a removable post to make access to the spa easier for the clients.
The way it works is pretty simple. A wide expanse is separated into two sections with a small section of outdoor blind used as a doorway, which is opened and closed regularly. This leaves the larger outdoor blind section, which is not opened and closed as often as the small outdoor blind. When the large section is opened, however, the clients can also remove the post providing a wide unobstructed opening. Great for views, for wide access for example to move furniture, or to allow larger groups to mingle more freely.
One of the bonuses of using Outside Concepts in Canberra is that Tony Cibiras and his team specialise in outdoor blinds and café blinds, as well as awnings. This is great for basic projects, as Tony is able to provide blinds and awning at excellent prices, but it’s even better for complex projects when off-the-shelf solutions just won’t do. This is the type of job that Tony and his team excels in.
The owners of the Macarthur ACT home pictured, Deanne & Jackson, were ecstatic with their blinds.
“Jackson and I would like to thank you for your professional approach, attention to detail and the utmost care with installing our new Ziptrak blinds. I have never experienced such personal customer service where the client is kept up to date at every stage, nothing was too much trouble and the job completed on time. These quality blinds have now enabled us to use our alfresco as a second living area and we love them! I would highly recommend Tony without any hesitation. Thanks a million.”
Ziptrak outoor blinds in Canberra
The other innovative aspect of the outdoor blinds installed on this Macarthur ACT home is the use of the Ziptrak system. Ziptrak is a track guided outdoor blind system that glides smoothly and gives the ability for users to stop the blind at any height. No more rolling blinds by hand and no cords, ropes or wires required.
The other main bonus of the Ziptrak system is that while most outdoor blinds have gaps to let dust, wind, rain and insects in, Ziptrak provides a sealed barrier. This helps to keep heat out during the summer and warmth in during the winter.
The hardware of the Ziptrak system is available in a range of 6 popular colours to match or complement your existing structures and you also have a wide range of mesh to choose from. The system can also be used for PVC outdoor blinds.
