Outside Concepts has hit the small screen, with a segment on Network 10’s Healthy Homes Australia.
The program, hosted by Walt Collins and Dani Wales, sees the pair drop in on Aussie families to take a look at their homes. Along the way they provide inspiring ideas, trends and tips to help people make their homes and gardens healthy, efficient and stylish.
The Outside Concepts’ segment features our very own David Buntin, branch manager of Outside Concepts Bayside. For the segment, Healthy Homes Australia’s Walt Collins, David and his team from Outside Concepts visited a house in the Melbourne Bayside suburb of Cheltenham. They take on a large renovation at the back of the house, turning an unused backyard into an “entertainer’s paradise”.
Specifically, the team designs and builds a beautiful outdoor living area that features:
- A sensational hardwood timber deck.
- A structure with insulated solar span panels to help keep the heat inside the outdoor living area during cooler months, and keep the heat out during summer.
- In-fills at the ends of the area to create an outdoor room that’s incredibly private.
The segment highlights how adding an outdoor living area can add the wow factor and provide an outdoor room that is an extension of the inside of the home. It also highlights how an outdoor living area can add value to a home.
A local real estate agent from Ray White visits the home before the renovation work and then after, to provide an estimate of just how much value can be added. His opinion? The addition of the outdoor living area by David and his team from Outside Concepts added a whopping $60,000 to $70,000 to the value of the home.
