It pays to be bullish when building a heritage carport

3 Apr 2014

Take a look at this carport in the Eastern Hills area in Adelaide and you’d be forgiven for thinking that it had been built at the same time as the house. But take a closer look and you’ll see that the materials and structure are brand new.

The key to success is the choice of materials and design of the carport – the same care we bring to every one of our Adelaide carports. When making these key decisions, the owner of the home and Outside Concepts soon decided that a Colorbond bullnose roof was the only way to go. Not only would it perfectly match the home, it would also match the heritage style that the home exudes. In addition, the turned posts, classic cream gutters, timber and other features of the carport were also carefully chosen to match the house.

The bullnose carport was built by Outside Concepts Jock Dean who has since retired. Jock has managed to design and build an asset that will be highly valued by the homeowners and has added significant value to the already prized home. Brian Rohan and our Eastern branch now manage the Eastern Hills area.
