Busselton Branch

My name is Nicola Jacobson and together with my husband Brett we own and operate the Busselton branch of Outside Concepts. We service the towns of Busselton, Vasse, Yalyalup, Abbey, Dunsborough, Margaret River, Yallingup and Nannup, as well as all surrounding areas.

We’re slightly different from other Outside Concepts branches in that we focus our efforts on supplying and installing the highest quality outdoor blinds and awnings on the market. With this specific focus, we’ve been able to perfect the art of installing outdoor blinds and awnings, and can assist you in choosing the right type of blind or awning and the best fabric for your needs.

We source our blinds from Pinz, Australia’s leading manufacturer of domestic and commercial blind and shade products. Their factory uses cutting edge technology and computerised production control, which ensures the highest quality for every blind and awning that leaves the factory. Thanks to our relationship with Pinz, we are able to supply these fantastic blinds and awnings at great prices. Just because it’s the best quality doesn’t mean you pay higher prices.

We’re relatively new to Outside Concepts, although Brett had been installing outdoor blinds and awnings for the previous Busselton branch owners for nearly two years before we took over the business. When the opportunity came up to get involved with Outside Concepts, I was looking for a change in my career so it was perfect timing.

We’re both locals. I have lived in the Busselton area most of my life and while Brett was born in Tasmania, he’s been in Busselton now for over 15 years. He’s a carpenter by trade, was taught by his father, and also has experience in building houses and supervising for building companies.

If you’re thinking about installing outdoor blinds or awnings, we’d love to hear from you. We’ll then organise a time to meet to discuss your needs and then provide a no-obligation quote.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Had a new verandah installed. It was a replacement for an existing verandah that needed to be demolished. Because of the limitations imposed by our spouting a novel way of attaching it to the house was required. Of all the companies we had quotes from, Kose's was the only one that came up with a goosneck arrangement which provided a verandah that met all our requirements for looks and functionality. The workmanship is excellent and we are very happy with the result.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We recently had a Large Colour Bond Patio ordered with OUTSIDE CONCEPTS PTY LTD in Melbourne.....The Quality and Workmanship were Outstanding, with the Best Quality materials used, not forgetting the TOP Tradesmen used, to do the job. We are Very satisfied with this Project, and will highly recommend them to anybody wanting a Good job done, at a reasonable price. The Manager Kose, who handled the job from start to finish, was extremely Professional, Very knowledgeable, and Patient, especially while dealing with the Local City Councils for Permits etc We wish them all the very Best in the future. Update 17 May 2026 : I recently had an issue with the extension Patio, so I contacted Kose, from OUTSIDE CONCEPTS, for assistance. Kose contacted me promptly, with all the advice I required, and a solution to the problem.! Thank you Kose for all your help you gave me, .....This proves that your 'After Sales Service " is Rock Solid , and the Best I have received so far. wishing you all the Best for the future.

While we unfortunately were not able to have a carport built by Custom Carports and Pergolas due to council regulations, the team here did so much fantastic work for us that I wanted to write a review. Everyone I spoke to here was courteous, friendly, and helpful. They understood what we wanted, knew the right questions to ask our city council to figure out what we could and could not do, and they communicated the result to us sensitively. I would be delighted to engage with this company again in the future if I had the opportunity. Thank you very much!

Kose was always in hand for any queries I had and would keep us thoroughly updated at every stage. Our backyard is now a lot more homely with the finished product delivered with care and skill. To anyone looking for a pergola look no further!
